Apply Now for an Internship with our Campaign!
Senator John Brooks’s campaign for New York Senate District 8 is seeking interns to help meet a wide variety of campaign goals. The primary responsibilities of interns will be to communicate with prospective voters to raise voter turnout. Campaign interns will learn and participate in the petitioning process to place candidates on the ballot in New York State. Interns will also be responsible for executing tasks specific to their experience and personal preferences, including policy research, communications, digital design, social media, fundraising, and community outreach.
Join us to get in on the ground floor of one of the most competitive races in New York’s upcoming electoral cycle. Hours are very flexible, with the strongest applicants being available at least 10 hours a week. Remote and in-person positions are available. This is an unpaid position, and our staff will work with interns to obtain college credit for the internship when applicable.
NOTE: Interns who join this program will be assisting the organization “Friends of John Brooks,” the political campaign of NYS Senator John Brooks. This is NOT an internship through the government office of Senator Brooks.
